Remarks: C. trachomatis IgG antibodies are produced after contact with the organism and are detected in the circulation. A positive titer indicates past infection any where in the past. High titers suggest possible current infection. C. trachomatis is one of the caudes of non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU), cervicitis , salpingitis and lymphogranuloma venereum.
