Remarks: High levels of ACA may increase the risk of myocardial infarction, thrombosis, thromboembolism, thrombocytopenia, and/or recurrent miscarriages. High titers of ACA (both IgG and/or IgM) are associated with both arterial and venous thrombosis and recurrent regnancy loss. It has been demonstrated that there is a higher prevalence of IgM positives than IgG. ACA may be also increased because of drug therapies.
